MATT BOWER, CFP®, AAMS™

FINANCIAL ADVISOR, RJFS

Life is not a fixed path—it is constantly evolving. As circumstances change, so too should a financial strategy. As a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) professional, Matt Bower believes that meaningful financial planning begins with understanding what matters most to each client and adapting strategies as life unfolds.

When partnering with clients, Matt prioritizes gaining a deep understanding of their background, aspirations, values, and concerns. He believes the greatest value he brings is helping clients bridge their financial means with their personal meaning. By aligning money with purpose, Matt plays a meaningful role in supporting his clients’ sense of well-being, progress, and fulfillment on their journey toward financial independence. For him, financial planning is not simply a profession—it is a calling.

Rather than focusing solely on return on investment (ROI), Matt emphasizes what he calls return on life (ROL). He views money as a utility—one that should be intentionally used to support the experiences, relationships, and goals that matter most. His planning approach centers on helping clients gain clarity, confidence, and independence as they prepare for both life’s opportunities and life’s uncertainties.

Matt’s philosophy is deeply rooted in his personal background. Raised by a blue-collar father who emphasized the value of hard work and financial responsibility, he developed an early appreciation for trust, discipline, and stewardship. Combined with his years of military service, prior business experience, and unwavering commitment to his community, these values shape the way Matt serves his clients and the long-term relationships he builds with them.

Matt is supported by a dedicated team, including Client Service Manager Stephanie Tyler. Together, they are committed to delivering exceptional service and building trusted, lasting relationships. They believe they play an integral role in their clients’ lives—working collaboratively to ensure each client receives personalized guidance, consistent communication, and attentive care, much like an extended family.

As clients navigate their financial journey, Matt places less emphasis on products or investment offerings and greater focus on comprehensive life planning. Through thoughtful conversations and ongoing collaboration, he works to understand each client’s needs, goals, and aspirations—meeting them where they are and helping them move forward with confidence. Matt encourages clients to expect more from their advisor and is dedicated to delivering planning that is purposeful, personal, and deeply aligned with their lives.
